Allyson Felix
Allyson Nicole Felix was born on November 18, 1985, located in Los Angeles. Paul Felix, the father of Allyson Michelle Felix, is a minister ordained at Master's Seminary Sun Valley. Marlean Felix works as a teacher of primary schools in Balboa Magnet. Felix's athletic talent was apparent from the time she was enrolled at Los Angeles Baptist High School. Ten weeks after the first attempt she made the sport, she finished second for 200m in the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championship. Felix graduated from high school and signed an official contract with Adidas. In the year 2004, she was enrolled at the University of Southern California, where her major was elementary education. One year later Felix was awarded her first Olympic medal in the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens Greece setting an all-time junior world record sprinting 200 meters at 22.18 seconds. In 2005, she became the world's youngest champion in 200 meters during the Helsinki World Championships. She won the title again in 2007, beating her longtime Jamaican competitor Veronica Campbell. Felix competed in Beijing London Rio de Janeiro Tokyo and has consistently ranked among the top three athletes at her particular events.
