Big Time Rush is an American pop boy band formed in the year 2009. The group is composed of Kendall Schmidt and James Maslow along with Logan Henderson and Carlos PenaVega. They first signed with Nick Records in 2009 before switching to Columbia Records. The group appeared in Nickelodeon’s show on television called Big Time Rush. The show aired from November 28, 2009, to July 25, 2013. The premiere episode introduced the group's debut promotional single, "Big Time Rush". The band recorded three albums: BTR in 2010, Elevate , and 24/Seven in 2013.
